  3. Deluxe Folder Icon Creator v1.6 includes some features that were not available in previous versions.  A ‚ÄúSmoothing‚Äù option has been added which enhances the appearance of small file icons by removing jagged edges through a process known as ‚Äúanti-aliasing.‚Äù  For some icons, this option works very well.  For others, it results in an icon that appears blurry or washed out.  Refer to ‚ÄúUsing the Buttons‚Äù for information on how to turn this option on and off.

  5. Deluxe Folder Icon Creator now makes 16 x 16 pixel folder icons, so your small custom icons should appear properly.  Also, the ‚ÄúStandard‚Äù folder now actually looks like the standard, System 7 folder icon, and dFIC v1.5‚Äôs ‚ÄúStandard‚Äù folder icon has been renamed ‚ÄúShaded.‚Äù

  7. In addition, there are a few cosmetic changes in dFIC v1.6.

  9. dFIC v1.6 was intended to fix a number of bugs that existed in the previous version.  Unfortunately, a few bugs slipped by, and I also introduced two new bugs.  Happily, these bugs have been eliminated in dFIC v1.6.1.  Really.
